This group of checkboxes are the properties that can be recorded about an item. A checked box means that particular properties will be recorded.
Name: The name of the item.Note: The more properties selected means the longer the Cataloger will run.
The Default button will reset the properties selections to what has been stored in the preferences file.
The All button will select all of the properties.
The None button will deselect all of the properties.
Filters can help to speed up cataloging time and exclude unwanted files.
The Files and Folders radio button will record the selected properties for both files and folders.
Files Only will only record the selected properties of files. The Folders Only button will only record the selected properties of folders.
Catalog Invisible Files will record all hidden files either because their Visible property has been turned off in addition to any visible files. In Mac OS X, this includes files that have names that begin with the "." character.
Catalog Files and Folders Linked by Aliases will go the file or folder linked by an alias (Mac OS) or shortcut (Windows) file.
Catalog Inside Packages (Mac OS X only) will make the Cataloger go into Mac OS X applications.
Note: The more filters selected means the longer the Cataloger will run.Levels allows the selection of how deep in the folder hierarchy the cataloger is to start and stop. The Start (root) folder is folder 0. The maximum number of levels is 255.
