!PIX Screen Capture Converter 2.11 - MacOS X (10.3.x or above) NEW |
||
MacOS X has a special feature that allows capturing screen elements and save them to PDF automatically, as listed below: COMMAND SHIFT 4 ( COMMAND SHIFT 3 ( COMMAND SHIFT 4 and SPACE after that ( Il all that cases a PDF file is put on the desktop with the elements captured.
BEFORE !PIX You use MacOS X and capture a screen element. MacOS X generates a PNG and puts it on your desktop. You capture a second, a third, a fourth element... after a while you have dozens, hundreds of files named PICTURE 1, PICTURE 2, PICTURE 3... on your desktop. Now you want to convert those files to TIF. You go to iPhoto, imports all pictures from your desktop and convert one by one to each of the formats you want. You will spend at least 30 seconds per format... you wil spend hours and hours converting... AFTER !PIX As we said, after capturing several elements with MacOS X function, you end with dozen even hundreds of PNG files on your desktop. Each of these files named as "Picture1.png", "Picture2.png", etc. Now imagine that PNG is not exactly the format you would like to obtain after a capture! Imagine you want to produce more than one file format per capture! Perhaps, a non-compressed TIF and a JPEG to send thru e-mail. Normally, if you want other format than PNG, you would have to spend your precious time converting the files, on some graphical package. This is the traditional method. But, if you want to save time, keep reading...
ALL THE FILE NAMES INCLUDE THE DATE AND TIME OF CAPTURE YOU JUST CHOOSE 1, 2, 3, MANY FORMATS AT ONE TIME AND !PIX CONVERTS THE IMAGE ON THE FLY TO ALL THE FORMATS CHOSEN AND STORES EACH FILE IN ONE FOLDER NAMED WITH THE FORMAT NAME. ALL OCCURS ON THE FLY, FAST, IN SECONDS. NO MESS, NO TIME WASTE! On this new 2.11 release we included a new feature called CLIPBOARD. If you choose this option, then all the snapshots are copied to the clipboard, so, instead of creating a file on your desktop, you send snapshots to memory, what will allow you to just paste them on your open documents in a flash. Despite the format you choose, !PIX always copy snapshots to the clipboard, so you always have the possibility of pasting them on your documents after capturing. Another new feature of release 2.11 is that all images captured are shown on a preview window tha vanishes automatically after one second!
