Configuring Pic-a-POD

To choose which sources to get pictures from:

  1. Check or un-check the items in the Sources menu.

  2. As new sources are added to Pic-a-POD, they will appear as new menu items when the app starts.

To specify how you want the desktop picture changed:

  1. To change the desktop to a specific picture, click a thumbnail and then click the Set as Desktop button, or right-click on a thumbnail and select Set as Desktop from the contextual menu.

  2. To get a new random desktop immediately, click the circular arrow button beside the thumbnail of the current desktop.

  3. To have the desktop picture change automatically, select an option from the Desktop menu.

To control how pictures look on the desktop:

  1. By default, Pic-a-POD will try to find the best way to display the pictures, based on the picture size and your screen size.

  2. If you want to control this yourself, choose an option from the Size menu. This setting will then be used for all subsequent desktop pictures, unless you change it back to Automatic.

  3. To specify the color that appears at the edges when the picture does not fill the desktop, go to System Preferences > Desktop & Screen Saver > Desktop, and click the color well to select a new background color.
