There are 6 preference panes: General, Taxes, Currencies, Types, Layout and E-mail.
View prices including taxes: If this option is checked, you will view the prices including taxes. You can toggle this setting on-the-fly using command-t in the document view.
Apply default taxes to manually added items: Lets you choose if Invoy applies the default taxes to manually added items (using the + button) in the document view.
Sequences: Choose between different patterns for you documents numbering.
Printed document language: The language in wich the document will be outputed. This is independent from the application localization ¹.
¹ If your language isn't supported, please contact us and we'll be happy to include your language in Invoy.
Print tax details: If several taxes are used on a document, if this checkbox is enabled, Invoy will print the partial values for the different taxes.

Warning: If you remove a tax that's been assigned to items, the items will loose this tax. This does not affect items already in documents.
Default currency: Your country's current currency.
Enable other currencies support: If you need to create documents in other currencies, this checkbox must be enabled.
Automatic currency rate update: If enabled, Invoy will fetch and update currency rates from the internet (European Central Bank) ¹.
¹ Even if the data is fetched from the European Central Bank, it doesn't garantee full reliability. It is strongly recomended that you verify the rates provided by Invoy with other sources.

To disable a document type:
This document type will disappear from the document type menu.
You also can configure how many copies you wish to print, for each document type.
Fine tune your document's margins, company's logo, number of items displayed, header or footer.
Warning: Changing the margins and number of items displayed in the document can result in a document overflow. Use wisely.
