The Resolution
It is important to understand the role that the resolution plays
in a movie.
The resolution is the smallest amount of time that a handheld device
such as a mobile phone can measure. In order for events, and in particular
'move' events to function correctly the resolution of the movie should be
set approriately. The default value used is 50 milliseconds
and this value is probably appropriate for most purposes.
The effect of a low resolution
If the resolution is too low then the movie will appear to run extremely
slowly when loaded into the device and there may well be a problem with
the co-ordination between events (events might not start and end when they should).
It is better to have a higher resolution
in which case move events events will be completed within the desired time.
Applet resolution
The resolution is largely irrelevant if the movie runs as an applet on
a modern PC. By setting the reolution to a very low value (eg. 5 milliseconds)
movement will become much smoother.
